Highlights
The event’s identity – NGĀTAHI – translated from Maori as ‘together, simultaneously as one’ signified the relationship between cievents and NZ Tourism, profiling the destination and our approach to the collaboration.
Potted herbs and foraged centerpieces reflected the forest environment and provided talking points, this, in combination with a superb venue, La Porte, provided an inner-city escape to New Zealand’s stunning natural environment.
Food and beverage provided a narrative to the event, hosted by New Zealand celebrity chef, Josh Emmett, details on how the menu ingredients were sourced and prepared entertained guests as they experienced the flavors.
Results
Inspired by New Zealand’s natural environment, cievents designed a culinary experience around the concept of ‘The Land of The Long Table’ which reflected our use of the venue, styling materials, entertainment and of course, food. The table was a pictorial journey through the wilds of New Zealand, with gestures and inspiration from The Hobbit.
Guests were suitably impressed while educated by a holistic event design that inspired all of the senses, positioning New Zealand top-of-mind when approaching their choice of conference destination.
