The Brief

 

Google Cloud Summit was the first Google Cloud customer event in Australia.  This free event would set the benchmark for future Cloud Summit events in the APAC region.

Google Cloud’s focus was to highlight their strengths from a customer-centric viewpoint, bringing developers and customers together to build greater relationships.

From an event perspective, our approach was to keep audience communication and the event experience smart and seamless with impeccable technology peppered throughout. Both the live and online systems were developed to capture and measure delegate analytics that would help shape the 2018 event scope.

Each delegate received a ‘smart badge’ that captured their engagement through the day, feeding into a live event dashboard enabling Google and their partners to send content to customers and drive sales leads in real time.

Google Cloud Audience

The one day live event experience included a plenary for 1200 pax, live breakout tracks, a separate VIP leadership event and a post-event networking function.

The event also included an exhibition for 20 of Google's partners and an analyst event to help develop advocates for the Google Cloud brand. 

Delegate movement was tracked throughout, again feeding into post-event analytics & key learning’s, with a live plenary and twitter feed available to capture and amplify event content in the market.

Communication did not stop at the end of the event with a dynamic survey based on individual journeys distributed immediately post event.
