The solution presented to the client was “A Day at Rupertswood - The birthplace of the Ashes", today fully restored as an impressive Victorian mansion. Collecting the brokers from their homes, the day began with a scenic helicopter flight to the property. On arrival, guests were greeted by the Rupertswood Battery members. Morning tea was served in the Library with a renowned Rupertswood historian narrating the history that gave rise to “the birthplace of the Ashes”. The brokers were then fitted out in Cricket Whites including an honorary Rupertswood Cricket Club shirt and cap embroidered with the company logo. |

Celebrity guest Merv Hughes, together with the Rupertswood Cricket Club, first held a cricket clinic for the guests to brush up on their skills before their cricket match commenced. Lunch followed in the mansion’s historic wine cellar, hosted by one of the region’s leading wine makers. The five course meal was accompanied with a meal-matched wine tasting for each course. After lunch, Merv Hughes entertained the group with personal insights of the legends of Australian cricket, and in the early evening guests were transferred back home via limousine. A once-in a lifetime experience indeed!
